Explanation of the data
The correlator matches single station detections and where possible solves for the
trajectory and orbit. Total matched detections is the number of single station detections
that could be matched. Since two or more cameras are required for a match, the number
of solved trajectories is always less than half the total matched detections.
Note that its possible for Matched Detectionsto be larger than Single Detections because
single-station classifications rely on 2-dimensional analysis and are not reliable.
However the matching engine works in 3-D and identifies meteors missed in single-station.
Events with a lowest altitude below about 30km are potential meteorite droppers
